When I was younger there were very few supermarkets and yer mom made your food except for fridays at the chippy.

We ate everything fried in lard. The only margerine was rock hard Stork so we all used butter. We ate chips often, lots of bacon and sausage but it was on the whole all home cooked. We ate bread and dripping once a week.

The was just the odd fat kid at school and his parents were wealthy and gave him lots of pop and sweets and chocolate.

Look at any before early 80's tv programme, top of the pops anything.......you will see very few fat people young or old.

There is a magic formula of salt, sugar and fat. The 3 combined are totally addictive and are in most ready meals, fast food meals, almost everything unless cooked by yourself.

Everything today has vegetable oil in it. Why? Vegetable didnt exist when I was a kid.

Most foods have added sugar. Because without it ready made food is so bland.

Looks like Ronald has bunged them a few quid to take down the live feed, you've been able to watch it stay exactly the same as the day it was served for close to a decade PMSL.

I am a socialist and I'd be lying if I said that didn't play any part, but when it comes to animal cruelty I'm not fussy. Dog baiting by chavs, hen fighting by gypsies I'll take anyone on. Don't even get me started on the Chinese, sickening.
But socialists want more migrants and your migrants are made up of muslims, gypsies and chinese. All of the ones who take part in the animal cruelty you dislike?

Your socialism is at odds with the things you dislike is it not?

From an offer of a chat for someone who may be struggling to fox hunting via the revelations that Dragons may not exist and Harry Potter may be fictional!
I'm glad I only plaster 1 or 2 days a week now and work with 18 women the rest of the time cos you never hear them complain or bitch at all!

I've lived in the country all my life and have witnessed fox hunting first hand and it's f**k**g cruel.
If numbers need controling then shooting is much more humane.
Personally I'd like to just let the poor buggers be.
you lot talking about me

You've made some good points, but not that one. Can't really stick migrancy with animal welfare. Chinese in China i meant treating dogs and cats like s**t, boiling and skinning them alive because the stress makes the meat more tender . This has to be stopped. Please join the campaign.

I agree.

But you have a socialist open borders beliefs for the UK where you want any and everyone to come to UK and avail of all.

Then with this policy you import all the traits of those immigrants and their countries into the UK, where they practice them and carry on as usual which involve the cruel and horrific treatment of animals and people you highlighted earlier. (Gypsies/Chinese etc)

So in the UK. ............ Are you yourself not the actual problem/cause for the animal cruelty you highlighted earlier, with your socialism beliefs which you want imposed on the UK?

I'm an internationalist, I'm anti-nationalist, and not fond of childish 'my flag's better than your flag' nonsense. So I look at world problems and the work Soi Dog Foundation do with the horrific problem of the dog meat trade in Asia. That doesn't mean I don't see your point of what immigrants do in this country, I'm more concerned with the wider picture. As for immigration per se, anyone who wants a thriving economy, like self employed plasterers, and anyone who knows anything about macro economics, realises controlled immigration is essential.

Controlled immigration certainly isnt open door policy which socialists champion.

There was controlled immigration in UK for hundreds of years and it worked perfectly ok until Blair opened The flood gates as part of a wider agenda thus all the probs you have today caused by it. Nobody waved the childish flag as you call it up until Blair got in. But you probably cant remember and possibly get your info from lefty propaganda.

Sorry but in the UK. You and your kind are the cause and responsible for the problems you highlighted. Nobody else.

If you want to solve problems in other countries.....go there and do it. They certainly wont be taking too much notice of you living in the UK. More likely to tell you to do one.

Blair is a Tory, blame the conservative. You say as im an internationalist I should move there. Umm ok I'll move to the UK then, that was easy. Not interested in your man made borders pal, you carry on if you like, tabards on marching through the streets.

How the hell can you blame someone else for something that he did. Typical lefty stuff.

I agree he is a war crim and more. But he is not a conservative and neither are they or anybody else responsible for what he has done .........any of it.

Well he's hardly labour is he? And you know conservatives supported Iraq invasion and left of labour didn't. Did you know that Philip May's company capital group is the biggest shareholder in BAE systems and a shareholder in Lockheed Martin that supply arms to Saudis who are causing starvation of hundreds of thousands in Yemen? Don't see much of that on the news. Propaganda. Your argument blown out of the sky with your very own 12 bore.

All politicians have their snouts in the greasy trough. The Saudis spend or distribute a lot of cash to the like and other. Branson was even quoted as giving PR advice to them before Xmas.

Globalists of which he is one push for open borders because it is cheaper to move populations to other countries than build up third world countries.

When those populations arrive they avail of tax payers money and become consumers and drive down wages thus increasing globalists profits all round........at no expense to them. What you call a win win situation as they sit on their private islands enjoying their next hundred billion. It saves them spending billions opening factories elsewhere. Unless the government uses tax payers money to do it. They cant really lose until someone says enough to the suffering they cause.

They use the Left's socialist agenda to push through their greedy aims and our war crim is a perfect example. No doubt also donating to their cause along the way.

By the way I have owned 7 dogs..........My first was a pup about to be drowned. The second was a stray off the street..........The other 2 were dumped pups...........All four lived in perfect luxury together until they died 3 of old age and one from a twisted gut.

My present ones are ........one of the worst cruelty cases in the county and 2 throw away pups. All living in luxury and like the others sleep by my bed. I would have more but the vacuum cleaner keeps complaining and theres no room on the settee so I have to sit on the floor.

I have never shot a fox. I have never voted Conservative, Labour or the other crowd either. But out of all of them the least I would agree with is Liebor.

On the food subject, everyone should watch a documentary called 'land of hope and glory' before you make up your mind. You can watch it on YouTube for free.

It's specifically about the UK industry and was made in 2017. Government have tried hard to censor it.

I thought I was pretty clued up on this stuff already but this was really eye opening.

Havent seen it and not going to because it will put me in a bad mood. I know a bit about it anyway, but my point is it aint done for some rich toff. It's done for people who are appalled at it all and demand change then rush down to supermarket and buy their food there. Instead of buying from somewhere where there might just be a change if money was available.

Will check it out. I got into animal welfare issues just by looking at such vids. Also after reading an interview with stuart brathwaite from mogwai who watched a video that showed pigs crying whilst waiting at the abattoir. Can't unsee these things. I'll drop you a PM re Reading, Newbury work. Big game for the royals tomorrow.
