Anyone good with materials per m2

Done quite a bit of it years ago, dirty heavy work cant remember the ratios now was working with some Irish lads only remember there was lots of hydrated lime in the mix, none of that freeflow nonsense.

Never used lime or free flo in my wet cast mix...but those Irish boys sour their mix......don't even know what that does ?:: every days a learning day.:RpS_thumbup:

The old boys that taught me used to have us mix the cast up ( enough for the day) first thing, dump it on boards and whilst mixing and loading the coating gear turn it and keep wetting it down.

Don't agree with that because when you keep adding water and turning it, it greatly reduces the strength of the bond between the materials, plus it was hard enough keepin three guys goin in gear never mind turning feckin roughcast ..
