New to this, kind of. Doing a large scale renovation of house from around 1910.
I've done a few smaller scale, but nothing this big. Started ripping everything out and got to the bathroom (tiled everywhere).
Taking the tiles off, massive chunks of what look like some kind of bonding for the old lathe/plaster has also been falling off. It's grey and has shiny specks in it, much newer than the house - probably 80's/90's (thicker in some places than others - just a skim in some places, not even that - so applied by hand whenever it was done).
It's solvable in the grand scheme of things - but making a right mess - anyone know what this and any recommendations on how to deal with it.
