Yes mate left site work for 12 years but back on site 2.50 meter is killing me . I think i am making minimon rate is it725

Left it about 9 years ago went to drive prisoners about for g4s, thought it was a career wrong!! Bored after 3 months stuck it out for a bit then came back

@stuart23 left plastering but I’d put money on he will go back to it, he’s same age as me was shocked tbh he did and honestly don’t understand why people want too , fair enough it’s s**t sometimes I have s**t time too but honestly don’t think it’s that bad compared to other jobs , my only fear is I’ll end up like a lot of 55 plus plasterers don’t want to say they are all the same but have noticed a fair few seem to say the end is here around then hopefully I won’t

Yeah I took a couple of years out. Actually it was probably over three years.
I bought a couple of properties to do up and rent out and did a bit of unpaid work in a training center (plastering). If it wasn't for my son I don't think that I'd have come back to it.

Absolutely no fking chance will I ever go back to plastering, none. I’m loving life just now and honestly don’t know why I stuck so long at a job that made me miserable. Everyone’s different and I know a lot of you enjoy it so fair play but it just wasn’t for me.

Forgot when you buy something for plastering look good for 1 week then coverd in s**t the van inculda
mate plastering is a good job if you do not have to put so much s**t on the walls it this that reely fcuk me off all the time. It is painfull and needs to be f**k**g stoped

My mates been doing it for years so I just called him and he got me a start straight away. Had to work my way up just doing Saturday nights for £80/£100 and plastering during week till I got the experience and qualifications and I now make good money full time without any hassle or stress.

If your series about doing it just google Ohl railway companies and give them a call, loads of work as everywhere getting electrified now.

No how you feel it not you .we have f**k*d up i trade .it is the hardist and they wanting it doing the qeckist on site russ f**k**g russ now no work all other trade working but not plasterer .

Yep was about to be back in fully before xmas but bottled it, now I’m glad although I’m worried sick I’m gonna bring covid home to my kids
