Anyone now worried about stored stock

As more media report possible second full lockdown,right or wrong. I know lads with pallets stocked in garages,units etc,,, anyone thinking i better use this gear incase it goes out of date.
How ironic would that be. See stuff on gumtree trying now to get rid at cost or under price now.
It is going full circle possibly.
 
Israel have just done another lockdown
I reckon no lockdown in uk but a purge like Australia in for 8pm or sumat like that
Cyprus your in @ midnight or in uk have that test to be allowed out haha

I seen that, think it is the first.
Problem here at the moment is new support aint in place the now .no more furlough or self employed assistance.
 
I’d say there’s no chance of a second national lockdown happening again.
If your using the gear why not have a bit put away anyway,must be better than trailing around in a morn to the merchants.

If boris sticks to his guns their wont,,,,but more noise everyday about it from all the opposition. Spain,germany,and france are all extending theirs in some form.
If they say full lockdown they will need to extend it.
 
Just got on my first skim jobs of the year mate and have to say I’m seeing folks with stock around most parts now , I’m optimistic for the rest of the year now booked out and rendering products are ok to get too for me so am happy

Even things that I’ve had to wait for on special order like Knauf Aqua panel exterior the reps from Knauf have helped get them to me which is one thing I have loved about this year

think we all have been very lucky and still will be to get through this year as a lot are absolutely stuffed

Never ever worked in houses were so many have lost their jobs and been made redundant.live near a airport and its utter carnage.

What it's made me relise . I just keep 10 to 20 bags in shed now . Only pain is I have to move the older stuff to put the newer stuff at bottom.
 
No chance of another full lockdown...the government simply cant afford to do it again...the old folks could be dropping like flies in december and they'll bring in every single measure they can think of apart from not working...the economy will trump people living especially old people as they have nothing further to give to the economy and will only take from it. Not my view but I imagine contrary to what they say in interviews it will be theirs
 
I remember back when we were plastering, we always had half to a full pallet in our lock up, for convience, plus some bonding bags for roughing out etc.

Ive got a full container unit full of stock as soon as 1 pallet is emptied another is delivered, yes we will end up with out of date gear but whats the alternative cant trust bg or merchants or sheds so we are now our own merchants

A few of them had partners in decent jobs,they had attitude that they will get another job.Also i dont know if this has always been the case pre virus. Customer wants to put house on the market this week. They tell me new build property developers will not accept a deposit unless their property has been confirmed sold. And new property will be ready july at earliest. Houses in my area are selling within a week,50% or more. Developers say either rent or other alternative. Customer says thats been policy on 3 different sites they looked at. WTF
