whats with the role director of football any how, to suss out future signings? surely that's the mangers job.
 
sussing out signings is mainly down to the chief scout.........enticing players to the club is the DOF job.............How Joe Kinnear things he can inspire top players to come to Newcastle is beyond me.........................and him for that matter

well artisan I have backed Newcastle to win the fa cup at 50/1, and to win the league cup at v50/1, cant fckin stand Kinnear but I think Newcastle have a good team and at these prices worth a bet, bet victor,

Off subject slightly here but, a lad i know put a a daft tenner on sunderland to get 100 points and 100 goals at the start of the season they actually did it in the championship when Reidy was manager. Cannot remember the odd's he got but it paid for his season ticket for 3 years if i remember right.

Mick Harford is a cracking lad his Dad used to drink in the same club as my Dad and I have had a drink with him a few times years ago when he was still at Wimbledon. But i suppose once everyone at Newcastle realised he was a mackem it could of turned uglier at St James :RpS_laugh:
