Guys,

got two bags of MP finish (FOC) in the garage as not used em as I'm shite scared incase it goes pete tong on a job. Was gonna board my garage out and finish with em but that's never gonna happen.

Anyway, what's it like to use? And stupid question time, is it only viable on board or can you use it on lower suction walls?

Any tips on using this appreciated ( I have only ever used multi for finishing work).

Cheers.

Same lay on style as multi, ie two coat with 2-3 trowels ? Same water ratio per bag or what?

1 bag will brim a tall 30ltr tub, lay on more than you usually would with multi flatten, lay down, flatten and leave it for a good 20 mins wet cross trowel, quick polish

It's dead easy mate, it's comes back to you if need be

I would use a pre grit if going over artex tho..

Whys that bud?

I use blue grit on artex ceilings with multi however a couple of weeks ago a set almost got away from me as it sucked in like a good en......with a good coat of blue grit applied the day before. I'm going off the idea of blue grit at the minute, not sure if it really adds any value?

Got a couple of reboard ceilings to do.....might as well get some use from them! So, a bucket of water to one bag?

No no not a bucket of water, couldn't say exact amounts but what I mean is a white tall tub 30ltr where as you get 2 3rds of a tub with multi per bag you get a brimmer with MP
