I used to live just outside newport pagnell.... I also had a bedford education.. if I return to teh UK I will be living in Kempston for a while.... small world!

By the sounds of it maybe he should grow some balls....

he's a t**t for quitting , it caused me and simps no end of grief this week i had to give a job away so i could get to newport to crack this job out as we have another great little job lined up straight after . it's not just the fact that he quit it's all the problems it has caused afterwards
 
Crist....I would love to work for that on the books, espicly learning to use tge machines and doing mono!!!

I'm the best worker ever, and love plastering...lol

im 23 now at16 i wus on £65 aweek then £85 at 17 £150 at 18 and at 19 i wus on 250 b4 tax but i saw the bigger picture see. the guy who taught me he 50 now and said as soon as im 21 we go on a 50/50 split so i hung in there. my mates were takin the p*** out of me for working 50 hrs for £250 but im laughing now cos my wages have trebbled at least and they still pulling home the same £300 for their factory jobs. The lads a plonker. thats gud money for 19. Not to mention he gets the benifit ov wrkin with experianced tradesmen and sharing ur knowledge of the game. prat
 
Well, he called me and asked if he could come back, I have thought about it and talked to monkey and we are going to give him a chance but on our terms now. he will not get picked up anymore unless im passing the door, he will be working away all the time and he will work a lot harder. I am picking him up at 6 am tomorrow so he will have 3 hours sat in the van getting the good news all the way. If he dont like it then he has got a long walk home. I will be just using him now until he shows he is commited. I will also make sure he knows that he might have papers but at the end of the day he cant do jack all really. I am going to enjoy tomorrow, been working myself up all week . cant wait until he asks where £80 of his last weeks wages is. Thats for messing me about and if you do it again you wont get f**k all next time. I will say to him.
 
i would not have given him a second chance personally, he is likely to pull a similar stunt in the future and as others have said he is on too much coin for a lad of 19 without a driving liscence
 
Find someone else who can drive............my brother did the same thing for his lab for years, pick up, drop off, allways moaning about the traffic to take him home. Now got someone with a licence, as he said, should of done it years ago. :)
 
part of the deal will be he starts learning to drive. the problem is this lad is good so better the devil you know and all that.
