The black screws are the worse for it:RpS_thumbdn:

just as well we are rough tough fookers:RpS_unsure:

If not , get used to putting the screw on the drill and pushing the screw in the board abit which holds it which means no fingers when its spinning :RpS_thumbsup:

Or you could buy better quality drywall screws. May cost a quid more per 1000 but no shitty splinters. I will also stick to my collated guns. Much quicker :RpS_thumbup:

I used to do that all the time when I first started but now I don't and I never worked out why I was and why now I'm not.

... this sentence sounds about as intelligent as the 'don't never stop' tattoo :RpS_unsure:

Bloke I worked with would tip them on the floor roll them round with his boot the sweep them up and put them in his pouch !

Still got splinters

I got collated ones from screwfix once but the plastic was so thick the bit kept jamming. Took them back.

zinc all the way for me when I was doing it... I did my a 10KG tub of drywall screws but they use to rip your fingers to bits.... Then instead of listening to SWYMBO you are pulling bits of black flecks out of your fingers... the joys!!
