Hi,
I love in an old solid wall house that I am currently starting to renovate. I was pulling up the carpet in one of the back bedrooms yesterday and attempted to take the skirting board off also. Realised in doing so the plaster was literally hanging off the wall and could be pulled off in chunks. I had the windows open but as this was not my original intention did not wear a mask and it was dusty. I ended up removing about 2 walls before it occured to me that there could be an asbestos risk.
I have ordered a test but how worried should I be? Should I be taking precautions with disposing of this material etc?
Sorry I am a complete novice.
Thanks you
