im all for trying something newas i have been surprised before (with a spray bottle) not too sure about your thingy me bobs cant see me paying for one but if i ever saw one id have a go dont like the left hand thing with it

Jim first like to say well done mate for getting your idea out there....and well done for it being a success....just seen the vdeo on the belmore trool site tho...your a bit light on the drywall adhesive arnt you lol.......bet u get 15 sheets up out of 1 bag lol......i wouldnt use your thing for skimming as i always like a spotboard but can see a use for it in certain areas of plastering.....could also be used for spanking ;o)
Im a huge lover of northern soul....got me dance moves down and everything ;D

Thanks phippsy as for being light on the dabbing that is just a demo on how to dab you could slap it up the windows with it if you like we all know how to dab an 8x4 is to dab down the edges for strength along the skirting line and top of the board aswell plus dab at intervals across equal sections of the board like i said its merely a demo as for the nothern soul i used to go to wigan casino in the seventies and kept the faith ever since i still go to our local nothern nights even now regards jimfish.

reply The idea is to hold the plastering tool in your left hand as you do with the hand board but with your left hand you dig down into the bucket with the plastering tool then you load your float trowel from the plastering tool you dont have to swap hands at all unless you are ambidextrous so both hands can be used. take a look at the demo jimfish

got a ceiling to over skim tomorrow and thats it at the minute. all the plasterers i know are struggling. we've got a big job on that we were waiting on plans to be passed and they reckon we will have the go ahead next week. we'll have 2 or 3 months solid then. then weve got loads of flats in march april. but its just these few weeks.

Had this discussion before if you are on the hop up and shout to the lab pass me trowel and he passes you a gaugeing trowel or margin trowel sure you would tell him bo**ock*round our way if i say pass that float trowel thats what i get .As for float well tight lines lets go fishing lol
