In museum of plastering. If not in case, use straight edge

Cheers mate :RpS_thumbup:
@irish_spread taught me how to render years ago & he never mentioned a Darby or a straight edge mate :RpS_unsure:
Think he was more interested in getting finished before pub opened :RpS_unsure:

That finish is pretty spectacular to achieve the same do I need a newfangled ultraflex stainless serated speed plastic spatula?

Thanks mate took me years to learn that finish :RpS_thumbup:
All you need is one thick coat of render & a sponge :-)

I would be so pleased if I could get that finish, been trying for 20yrs and never get results like that! If only you could show me sometime.

Thanks mate yeah I'm thinking of doing some DVDs or maybe even start a YouTube channel for now to show how to get your rendering spot on with my secret technique :RpS_thumbup:

Here's a tip for you rendering newbies, save pounds by using washing up liquid instead of expensive plasticisers it does the same job & smells beautiful & lemon fresh, the customers love it :RpS_thumbup:
But don't tell them you've nicked it from their kitchen lol :RpS_biggrin:

More tips next Sunday morning :-)

Make the people of Britain smile!

Bit of cheap renderboard.... some sticks like sh*t on the back..... the blocks are covered!

......not sure how to render it afterwards though.....? someone a bit more experienced will help....

Great to see your rendering is coming on though! your early stuff was rough.....

Render the board first then stick it on, you can render it anytime then :)

I just did awkward render job just over the boarder in Galashiels . Customer paid me before they went on holiday. Just before I finished I left the cross of st George right across the gable and a Yorkshire rose. An angry jock shouted up at the scaffold asking me what the hell I was doing and he knows the number of the customer and he's gonna phone em . I said go ahead you scotch cxxt. It won't matter after next Thursdays referendum. Plus they've gone for a fortnight. And with all the artic loads of blocks turning up right along hadrians wall they'll never get me. Also got a few funny looks from neighbours when i sang auld lang syne at top of me voice whilst packing me gear away
