You’re a legend Norm. Love all the different people on here...couldn’t script it.

And Michael the fireplace restoration man has hung my roses in his showroom because he’s a bloody nice bloke!

Still enjoying my new hobby. Still got loads to do and f**k all knowledge! I want to learn how to make gesso frames. Anyone done this? Norm? @The Hobo

Thank you. I’m just playing around. I don’t have a fibrous background. Fantastic background in winging it though! and fortunately @essexandy ’s in love with me and lives to help me out and write words of encouragement :coffe:

Welcome to the forum! Always nice to have more fibrous fellas here

They look good. What plaster do you use and where do you get it from? I'm trying to find a supplier that will sell me maybe 10 bags at a time without having to buy a whole pallet.

They look amazing, how do you do it?
Thanks love. Bought roses. Made a flood mould with silicone and then cast out of them with hessian and/or lath depending. It took a while to not completely f**k up the faces etc but I’ve enjoyed learning. Child’s play for proper fibrous peoples
