I was told by a QS the other day that they used someone else because the price was so low, even though they know he can't do the job for the money, they'll let him struggle then **** him off and get one of their regulars in to finish it and deduct the cost from his original lowest quote, that's what's going on at the top, bankrupting competitors and it's legal. So don't price too low or this could be you, poor f**k*r.

There's a firm this way that likes doing that they let lads lose for a week or two don't pay them then shell out for 2 days tops putting their work right

One of the biggest plastering companies up this way are just pricing to keep their lads in work, subbing to a local company who I am reliably informed that their bosses are just laughing at the guy who runs it..........that's what's happening at the top mate:RpS_thumbup:
Sorry al can't get me head round that one who's laughing at who?

The bosses of the building Co, they're laughing at the guy who runs the plastering business for buying the work. AND, he's been in the nuthouse for a 'rest':RpS_scared:..............fk to that

It all stems from paranoia shame cause he's trying to keep lads going .....think sometimes we'd all be better off with no work for a bit and lads keep their prices up But then you get the lads sucking up trying to get their foot through the door blah blah and it all goes in ******* roundabouts lol

Spunk my mate got a iva he was £27 K in debt on plastic and loans he now pays £290 a month for the next 5 yrs, He said when it was sorted it was like a mill stone lifted of his shoulders.

my mate went bankrupt couple years back cost about 400 quid said its best thing he ever did but if you got any money with the halifax get it moved as they dont give up easily the co op bank dont give a s**t if you,ve been bankrupt and you will get a new utr number to stop any creditors chasing your pay

Spot on gibbo like yourself my mate went bust said best move he made. He wished he had done sooner he would still have been married instead the debt cause them to split up.

My mate sold his house and bought a mobile home, had enough dosh left over for new Micra for his Mrs, and a 3 year old transit for him.
Reckons thats the best thing he ever did.
