bad gypusm plaster

haa anybody had any dodgy plaster, we have had a whole week of terrbile plaster from 3 different build centers. We ran british gypusm and they said we are the only person to moan. yet we have rang a few plasterers round the local area and one from up north who are all having probelms with it. its a nightmare, just wondering if any of u have had probelms.

i saw a post by someone the otherday about a few pallets of rubbish gear but cant find the topic now.

I know you can put more on with it but i find its like spreading chewing gum! Ok for site work but not domestic imo

not had a prob with plaster but the pissing bags have been ripping down the side as ive been pouring it in mix bucket resulting in quater of the bag on the floor before i can save it never had a problem before but had about 6 bags do it to me this week ???

yeah the gear has been s**t.

The BG rep phoned me and said he would have to have a site visit to see the problem. I asked him what a lot of people on here say that BG put retarder in their gear in the summer and he laughed and said thats just a rumour and the mix from the factory NEVER changes from winter to summer ....

I was told completly the opposite by a BG rep that came out to site some years ago, I honestly don't think the reps have a clue how the gear is made or how best to use it, come to that nor do I :-[

That's their job. If you buy a hundred bags of multi a week they'll treat you better than the guy that buys 5. b*ll***s to all that "we treat our customers the same" pish. Same in every industry.
