Hi, pretty new to rendering got a small outdoor building to do over breezeblock the bloke stuck all beads on with dab really tight aswell? Will render fail on top off dab, should I redo them? Many thanks
I’m from wednesfield mate not got pics as I only visited yesterdayPics mate? And where in wolves you from? Who was the bloke who put em in with dab?
Non taken I’ll ask him to redo them laterI don't think that you should take them off and redo them.
I do think that someone that wouldn't have asked this question should take them off and redo them. No offense.
I didn’t stick them, the job I done on my own extension I used a couple of cable pins and clout nails it’s the only rendering I have doneTake them off and stick them as you do the scratch coat but next time ask before you use board stick outside
be fine crash onSo that's one for not taking it off , anyone else ?
There's a few that still use dab,Thanks guys will show him the thread later if he thinks it will be fine. I can’t see him disagreeing tbh just a back up
10 years ain’t bad @John j
No it was all the same colour this renderThink it's been about 8 lol.
You sure it wasn’t @smoother09 and his lab?Saw a gang of polish lads sticking all their beads on with universal one coat
Ot was builder who used dot .No it was all the same colour this render
seen loads in Scotland bonding and neat cement the vermiculite expands and blows it to bits/went to repair a 5 sidied bay all the soffits where done it it was ringing wetThere's a few that still use dab,
It's bad practice though I redid a job This year that had failed after 10 years Using the wrong beads and bonding to stick them
tell him its a f**k up the penny pinching c**tDon’t use dab
Take off.
If sparing his feelings...
Knock one off when he ain’t looking and say it didn’t work well
Take off all after that

nothing nicer than nailing beads on to hard joints on a frosty morningTake them off and stick them as you do the scratch coat but next time ask before you use board stick outside
I'm laughing but have met someone who does, and several who use instant glue for internal beads on board.I use pink grip never had any call backs in the 3 months I’ve been doin this new render thingy
