Dewalt for price and how light it is in the hand plus parts are cheap as fook but hilti is the don of screw guns end ofOpinions? Hilti, festool ect or the cheaper options? Makita, DeWalt. I had a corded Makita back in the day which got robbed so never bothered replacing and just been managing the old fashioned way so opinions would be appreciated as I feel like a spending spree
We've got Hiltis but a chippy pretty much insisted that I have a go with his Festool. Gutless in comparison to the Hilti.Hilti I s were I was thinking. Nobody seems to say much about festool as there other kit is outstanding is it because there more pricey?
Festool is the best i’ve used. I’ve used them all. Everyone will have their own opinions. Most problems with auto feeds are down to cheap screws, stick to a decent brand and check screws are fully in the strips.Hilti I s were I was thinking. That would of been the 2500 revs one for tin. We've got Hiltis but a chippy pretty much insisted that I have a go with his Festool. Gutless in comparison to the Hilti.
I didn't mean speed mate. It just didn't like putting board onto OSB over studs. Sounded like it was really finding it hard work. The chippy had been using it for fixing the OSB and even he said the Hilti had more power. That would of been the 2500 revs one for tin.
I did know a tacker that used one of their £10 drill-drivers.Power devil
Yes.Is it wrong that I prefer loose screws and an impact driver?
