I was always shown from the top left to right. Bottom left to right.
Unless putting full room then do all tops of all walls then all bottoms.
Only thing with doing tops first, if you’ve got a good reach is middle of wall gets basically a double coat on first. As i can nearly touch ceiling line from bottom on standard 2.3 room. Still do it out of habbit tho

He's clearly a domestic plasterer because he's an ex infantryman - Royal Welch Fusiliers plus a few numbers...they'll be his last 3...which means he's not qualified and was shown by someone when he left the army.
He seems a nice bloke and if he leaves a nice job, then I bet he charms the pants off his customers and shows them the vids and that's how he makes a living.
