What's the best way to prime thermolite blocks before K-rend Base coat and mesh, cheers

Phone them I would and get a spec then follow it

Easy with parex as it's micro then render away!!

Hpx and full mesh with extra mesh on stress points is the spec iv got for light weight block

R10 is the easiest. Bit like microgob.

We got told by K-rend we could do 2 coats of r10 and go straight onto block, we decided to hpx the whole lot and used sbr as a primer

What would the best sand and cement mix, for light weight blocks?

Sbr the walls (pre soak or not?)

5-1-1 plastering sand, cement, lime, scratch coat with mesh.

then a 6-1-1- Top coat or same again (5-1-1)?

Water proofer and lime in both?
