Not when your as fit as me,i could through that litttle lot out in no time.Be into a having it all delivered, hire costs etc,as i said earlier, priced to cheap.

You set the boards up in H shape frame shape (not the whole room) saving you boards and time the lab moves them when required so basically you run boards parrale to each other and have boards running across them where needed i can reach around 3 meteres of one plank in both direction then just kick it over ur get lab to move it if he not busy.

the most im hitting at the mo on me tod is say 40m2/50m2 (lids)
its the biggest lid iv ever tryed too skim. two of us on it £400 just skim

Big ceilings are mint they just seem to go on and on but you feel a great feeling of relief once you give it the final trowel also felt like i needed a neck brace after a couple i have done:(

Right. Ive been on site too long and Health and Safety has got me into their ways. Without me even noticing! A youngman across the middle, and move it along.

I find with stilts im walking back and forth to spot wasting time !!off planks the plaster is next to me and easily moved along.Handy on bigger hits.

Ive in the past screwed 13 foot planks to 2 towers and wheeled them both along giving me massive long reach.what would health and safety think to that lol ??

A spread that was working on a job i was on had a plank snap and he had a compound fracture bone sticking right out of his leg pretty nasty.

Fcuk site work you gotta be banging 80m2 on day to make it pay and with the small room sizes it getting harder to do.that and the snagging H&S retentions etc etc i think id rather plod along on domestic thank you.

i just hate using those Oxford landings on stairwells, the bloody thing touches the wall both sides so how you supposed to skim the wall?I mean thats what your there to do! thats the point of your being there! But they make you work off something that is in your way and stopping you doing the job! Whats the point being safe but making your job imposible!

Yep the houses are getting more awkward to do,cupboards in every room, splay angles everywhere and crap price.Domestic is great if you can get enough of it to keep you going.

give us a link mate, im interested cos i never heard of it... only easydecks and offset ladders etc, ali towers..

nice one mate...
few design faults i reckon...
1) i bet theyre an absolute C@NT to keep clean...
2) see what spready's on about - theyre just a bit too wide.. could do with a 700 version with a flat top you can scrape clean and a big enough hatch to get a gorilla tub through....

other than that, not a bad idea....

fu*k stairs on stilts haha i tried one day got half way up and cudnt get bk down was stuck for 20 mins till 2 labourers carried me down haha (wimp) i just diddnt feel stable enuff, and kept seeing images of my little girl flash through my head did not like the feeling of imminant death

thats a good idea bubbles but seems like you couldnt use it to do the big wall down without taking it all apart

Oh right! - yeah that frame is shite, great for H & S, but they don't think about things like actually getting the fkin wall done.:-0
