Get the builder to do it saying it saves him money otherwise you have to go there the day before to do it. If you still have to do it use watergot a few ceilings to do for a builder he's got blue grit on site I hate rolling this Shiite on cos its thick will Pva or sbr thin it out thanks

I know Greg but it's already on site with all the powder so got to use it I personally get the cemetone on the green stuff a lot thinner to spreadBlue grit is wank and too course
your not supposed to thin it down with water better with Pva or sbrWhat w**k*r wrote that? Must be senile
cheers palYes I use pva 50
50 makes it easier to roller

I get 2 tubs of stuff I use to 1 of microBuilders favourite choice because it’s cheap and nasty. Nothing beats micro.
But micro goes twice as farI get 2 tubs of stuff I use to 1 of micro
But micro goes twice as far
What are you using?
this builder has supplied the gear fuuk getting summat else let them sort it out don't even want too do the f**k*r know want your sayin though can't even be arsed trying to educate builders some are so pig headed its unrealIf you are going to thin then use some polymer sealer. Blue grit is polymer sealer with sand. You can buy from anywhere. Tilers use it to seal floors and walls so just thin it with that.. I think blue grit is thick to hold the sand and as you say,Ain't nice to use. I just get on with it and roll on as is.. No thinning
I don't have that trouble really put bonding in the first coat then a fresh coat over that comes up a treatYeah. You seem to need twice as much gear to get over it and if you're not careful, you can feel it through the finish.

Yep one day it will comeYeah but that's because you're a good plasterer. You know how to make proper mixes and fully understand the dark art.
Unlike me and Poor Ole Marshy.
Hopefully one day, we'll be as good as you.
exactly got to use it it's on the jobIt’s just so clumpy Ste isn’t it?! Loads of grit in one bit then feck all in another. No consistency with it. Hate the stuff. Gotta do what you’ve gotta do though eh. Slap loads of the s**t on, you’re not paying for it haha
