Another complicated load of bollox over how to skim FFS, quite obvious really Board finish on board and Multi finish on other combined surfaces or whatever you got in the van at the time.
not many people use board finish these days
 
So Wickes arguably one of the biggest outlets in the country stock it and sell loads of it
 
i get what ever the gaff supplies me with but if im sent to get materials or asked what i want i have board finish
 
ive only seen/used multi finish on one job, that was this summer. Most providers here stock Skimcoat and are nervous about multi, but my local merchant only stocks Knauf multi, as of the last two years. Have to say i could throw on serious fckin lifts with multi but i wasnt happy with how the finish looked, when i saw it with one coat of paint on, it was perfect, no worries. Multi is easier to keep lines/angles straight an all. Still prefer Skimcoat, from Kingscourt, Cavan, Eire. Home. Lots of fat :RpS_thumbsup:
