Boarding over a ceiling

Beautiful finish, what paint did you use for your ceiling as it looks slightly glossy?

Also, why a white towel rad when a chrome one would have been more suited? Same with the downlighters

It needs a woman's touch, I'll send the reich over after she's finished bossing me round

I was plastering 6 days a week then on night doing this house up so got to a point where just did whatever. isn't a keeper anyway.

Ceiling was boarded skimmed and I think was some bathroom paint stuff

Gloss paint, probably.

@lurpak are you going to take that off him? Get in here and smite him.

You bought a blowtorch didn't you

Boarding over a ceiling

bathroom paint you turnip. You should know that, you're a f**k**g painter

Not a very good one though. I was hoping to learn to plaster if I read this forum enough but all I get is you following me about with your foot fetish and undermining my confidence.

I was thinking of buying a book on plastering. Do you think that'd help? I already know about plasterboard and scratch coats.

Dung Heap Vol.3

We were aware of him, growing up in Liverpool. Never had any internet in those days so he was just a sort of bogeyman. I was amazed when he turned out to be real.
There is a documentary about him done by BBC 3 .you may still be able to get it on the i player.

i feel your pain larry. i was plastering 6 days a week then doing that on the evening. i think @algeeman did the same

I know a fella couldn't afford a proper house so the clever c**t saw a bit of land with a tin shack on it. The plot was big enough but it had a little river running through the middle of it.

He waited for the ole woman to die and bought the (worthless) plot, applied for permission to divert the river and got it. Then he set to and built the house from the footings up with his wages and his own hands. Plumber by trade, he got a joiner to give him a hand with the roof and a sparky to finish the wiring and that was it,

Met an old bloke once with load of land as I used to rent one of his units. Irish bloke. Minted. I was speaking to someone years later and they told me he got all the land by planting something on it then claiming it or some shite.

If you can show that you've treated land as your own for a certain amount of time you can claim it with squatter's rights. I think the best way to do it is to actually fence it off.

I had another bash at Mein Kampf recently. I figured that seeing as sixty million people lie in their graves on account of what's in it, it's a book that should be read by everybody.

I did finish it, but still can't really make head nor tail of it. It's truly a bizarre rant.
I’d never have the patience. Feel like you’d need a cleansing bath after you’d read it too. Might just read a summary at some point

have had someone try that with me :D... fence got taken down and I trimmed the hedge :D

Thistle pure finish

f**k off.

It was something I never learned. We always left a floated concrete finish. Tried self levelling a couple of times but it just doesn't do what it says on the tin. Went wrong both times so just went back to leaving concrete.

Well next time don’t use a paint brush

Poor chap probably just needs a hug

He's a proper tragic c**t. Can't set foot out in Merseyside without being pestered by kids and having people running in all directions, screaming or following him about with cameras. Can't go on the internet without finding people taking the piss out of him.

Being Merseyside's most successful bogeyman comes at a price, it seems.
