Picked up a 5l tub of this today my local supplier has stopped with blue grit. Was skeptical especially with it being almost double in price but my god it is so much better to spread than that blue s**t. I dont prefer to use pre grits but whenever i have to i am deffo going to use this again. Been using the blue one best part of 8 years this green one was a pleasure to paint and i fooking hate painting
Can paint on neat pva and skim in 30 mins.... Or 24hrs with grit.....
True, I used it in a kitchen, walls had different suction levels so thought I’d give it a go, I found it better than PVA with walls like that because it kills all suction so made it a lot better to skim. And 1 wall had fecking gloss all over it so sorted that issue out.
Ive had 2 failures with it also...

Yes I get plenty of stuff that way. When I last bought the green grit there wasn't even any available for delivery.
I found both products hold back high suction backgrounds, but I’m very generous when putting it on
