Do you offer warranties for the renders?

I think Bauwer have a skim like finish can't think of the name of it. The staff am thinking of is the stuff u can go over paint with it and don't need pva.
Hi Mate, we offer 25 years manufacturer warranty.
Bauwer insulation materials are extremely robust being inorganic in its composition. When applying Bauwer Light use key coat, recommended finish, wet the substrate before application in order to avoid quick drying of Bauwer Light. Apply Bauwer over solid stone or brick walls, do not apply over wood, boards or heterogeneous substrates, use only over solid substrates.
For Vimark range no difference really vs Parex range in application practises and quality. Vimark range was manufactures and improved over 35 years and extremely popular in France and Italy mate with 25 years manufacturer warranty.
I'm talking about giving the warranties to customers with paperwork
I can offer with with others so it'll make a difference if I use it
Cheers

Sure mate, we offer paperwork as well. Also about 3,800 tons of Mono with coverage of about 200.000 sqm were installed in France and Italy with virtually no issues. Most of installations were in France, about 80% to 85% and about 15% in Italy. About 1,900 tons of Arenino, white and coloured, with coverage of about 630.000 sqm. were installed again trouble free, with most of the volume installed in France.
From my experience with other materials, vast majority of the defects are due to failure to follow method statement or using a right material in the wrong application or similar. It is extremely rare case in the industry when defect is due to actually defective material being manufactured and supplied mate. Vimark S.r.l. materials are more than 35 years on the market and it is a very respected manufacturer mate.
Thanks for the stats!!
The point I'm trying to make is let's say I do a parex scratch render job.they will write up a guarantee to the client/builder
As will say pro rend.
I'm happy using parex so if I'm going to try another this is what I'm looking for
Cheers

Sure, written guarantee is an advantage which helps dealing with the clients.
We are happy to issue a warranty on our material supplied as well.
In central Europe Bauwer is issuing 25 years installation + material warranty on about 40% of installations they are doing with their own installation teams. They are happy to do it, as they can ensure that installation process is done religiously according to the method statement.
Vimark S.r.l. providing insurance for their designs and specifications.
I also looked at what is available on the market:
Parex: "in the first instance it has be established what has caused the failure and where the liability lies and this may take some time to establish." Clearly in vast majority of the cases it would be installation inconsistency, not sure what would happen in this case.
"Parex’s insurance cover is offered from Day One of the scheme but does have a 6 months defect liability period where the builder must put right faulty workmanship found during or after inspection." Not sure what happens after 6 months.
https://www.parex.co.uk/GetFile.ashx?file_id=690
SAS: 10 year product guarantee. Not sure what happens in the case of faulty installation.
We are happy to provide 25 years on our materials mate, and replace any faulty material supplied free of charge mate. Both for Vimark and Bauwer ranges mate.
I've got a job to quote which is on a house that was originally chalk cob and solid red brick but has been extended several times and all has been sand and cement rendered late 90's. The people have baulked at the price given by specialist lime company and are looking for a modern alternative. It's just up the road and probably a months work so don't want to pass it up. But don't think I could give any guarantee
Hi Mate, Vimark S.r.l supplies about 300 different types of renders plasters for more than 35 years across Central and Western Europe. Clearly we could define a right specification, right quality cost efficient material and we could recommend the right application method which would work well for the decades? We'll provide material insurance as well mate. It can not be that difficult to make the customer happy mate?
Hi mate , I'm just waiting for your reply to my latest email regarding possible colour variations due to the different substrates and thicknesses required on this job . Cheers Luke
@Bauwer
We need to know the facts about your products, it seems that sometimes you beat around the bush giving responses to questions a politician would be proud of. We d0n't need to know how many meters etc have been applied world wide etc...
Do you offer warranties with your products...yes or no simple...if so provide details.
It's great that you are being so active on the forums but I feel your time would be much better spent working on providing better technical data about your products and pictures of the different finishes on your website.
