I was speaking to a guy at B and Q this morning about the sh1t bags. He said the amount of waste from them is huge. But that they don't really give a toss because they sell at cost just to get the punters in to buy other bits and pieces. Not sure if this is true or not. Anyway, @BritishGypsum, any news on the bags? Any developments? Will they be getting any better anytime soon? Any news would be much appreciated. Thanks, @BritishGypsum :RpS_thumbup:

every bag is like that. don't know whether to twist or stick with them, now. use to just lift them off and that didn't work. then started to kind of give them a slight twist to break the adhesion to the bags beneath. but that doen't work now, either, if it ever did. when they tear i just swear and throw them to the back of the pallet. just like everyone else does. what a waste. and if they get wet in the rain when you're putting them in the van they're fcuked. the paper skin comes off when you pick em up again and you're left grappling with the cheap poly stuff likes its a bag of ferrets ffs. they couldn't care less. they don't even bother to repsond to any questions from the forum. the only time they respond is when someone praises their cheap giveaway sweatshirts made for pennies in a bangladeshi sweatshop.

I think the fact that they gave out hoodies saying 'master plasterer' to anyone that went on the tour without knowing their level of skill shows the utter contempt BG have for our trade.
The bags have been shite for years, do they care? Do they ****!

Yep I'm wearing my hoody wandering round Brittany and feel a fraud!!?? Mind you it does seem to be annoying the locals so all good this end :RpS_laugh:

I know what you mean, I wanted a slighty above average plasterer hoody but they'd run out. Hope I don't get the fraud squad kicking my door down.

ive had 2 bags this week whilst pouring in just split all down the side that your controlling the pour with and you end up with shite loads in the bucket have to wet it down to get it back to usable then youve got more than you wanted and its taken an age to mix it all together properly:rolleyes)

in the short term the glue is being changed... @Wezly said today he is noticing a difference....

in the long term there are new bags being tested :D

How are u getting on with the mp finish mate

It spreads great much better than multi on plasterboards but its weird how it seems to stiffen up on the spot board but as soon as you put your trowel through it a bit it goes to runny soup lol

I saw some pallets a while back that were wrapped rather than gluing individual bags . doesn't seem to have worked though as they've gone back to gluing

First coat my m/t stainless steel then second with s*p*r*lex but must admit need a light brush/spray of water but might be due to the boards plus warm out here too. I mean if the gear is on your board and stiffens up you can knock it about with your trowel and it goes all soft and runny lol :RpS_laugh: bit like my missus lol

Bet the hoodies fall apart like the bags ?

Blame it on the glue.. no stichin:rolleyes)

Pontoon bags..........
.....one twist and they're bust!:RpS_bored:
