The outer paper does seem a bit thinner than it used to be as well.
I'd say with me I'd probably have 3 bags out of 10 tear on me.
I did not know anything about gluing the bags together before reading this.
It's not been a massive problem but it is annoying when you are holding the bag with one arm pouring and one arm mixing and then the inner bag slips down because the outer bag has torn. Can be messy!

are you on a retainer with BG? it sounds like it, mate. a free hoodie and you're anyones. to be honest, i'm not keyed up on the logistics of BGs operation. i don't know the ins and outs of the packaging process. it seems they don't either. i just know that the bags are w4nk. that other outfits don't seem to have problems with the same thing. and that the problem has been longstanding, and not addressed as far as i can see. the problem is still there evry morning. thorough testing of the glue. you're twisting my fcuking melon
Calm down buddy and please go on the next BG tour and see things for yourself!?? @BritishGypsum will take very good care of you plus open your eyes to stuff you have never thought of!!?? You Will enjoy it trust me :RpS_thumbup:

:RpS_thumbup: i'm calm, mate. i dont lose any sleep over it, believe me. i just toss the torn bags aside. but being told there is no problem is like someone telling you that the sky is green, or that the pope aint a catholic: it's b*ll***s.

Breath jurek, breath.

You can't be getting worked up like this you will give yourself a nosebleed.

As I say get yourself on the next tour and voice your opinions?? Try not to ask as many questions as @ryanswart tho or BG will shat themselves lol :RpS_thumbup::RpS_laugh: you'l get well fed and watered those @BritishGypsum know how to look after visitors :RpS_thumbsup:

nothing personal, @Wezly. sorry if it came across that way :RpS_thumbup: we all have our opinions. the forum allows us to express them. fingers crossed the bags will be sorted in the next few weeks like already said. the tour sounds interesting. went in a really deep cave in nerja a few years back and it was ace. they used to have classical concerts down there and cavemen and that

:RpS_lol: am just being diplomatic. i move in different circles, now. am trying to change things from within. the bags are still sh1te

The bags are shite. Av tried gently lifting them and twisting them and some come off and some split. It's astounding that things that BG have changed. I.e. Bag liners. Bag glue. Unifinish. Have all be brought to market without thorough testing. I can't imagine builders merchants aren't complaining about the bags cos they must be sweeping up lots of,wasted finish everyday, but I suppose by then BG have got there money so don't give a rat's ass....imo

Ive done most of the BG courses over the years and they look after you brilliant, as for the bags.. maybe we get a different bag up here, but i never get one to split etc, mind you I do handle them carefully..ie. not working on site throwing the fukers all over the place,

The bags the casting, herculite and Fibrefix. come in is strong. Same for the lafarge stuff.infact I cut the tops.of.and reuse them as rubble.bags
