British plasterer in new zealand

Hello all, I’m currently traveling and am in New Zealand. I’m a plasterer back home and my family member out here wants some walls plastered (interior). Back home it would be a case of skimming over the walls with multi finish. Does anyone know of any similar products or what the usual plaster is that’s used out here? Not sure if it’s mainly dry lined or if there’s anything similar to multi finish. Any info is helpful, used lots of different types of plaster but not any that are used out here. Thanks
