So plasterers need to use concrete boards or moisture board in case tilers don't do their job properly....

A decent new build normally has a good spec and defo don’t have any grey board in bathrooms , either mr or wedi backer tile board. I’ve done houses where they’ve had 1200x600 marble and u wouldn’t want to hang/install that on grey board

Is it me just being fkin pig-headed or what?

I spent best part of the last 20 years of my career retro-fitting sound proofing and I used sound proofing boards....why? because they're better than standard boards for the job and didn't cut corners.

I'm retired now as you know but maybe I worked at a time where integrity mattered in the trade or is it because I was a 100% private/domestic spread and not a site monkey (never worked on a site in my life) where it seems time and money matters more than integrity, quality and attention to detail?

It just seems to me nowadays mate especially when I see some of the crap on here that this trades integrity has had the bollox stripped out of it.......it's a shame.

Everything you do has a knock on effect
Everyone no matter what their trade should leave their particular job as best as they possibly can so that the customer ends up with the best possible job and value for money.

It’s obvious to me in your case that you have a piss poor work ethic

it’s cuuntts like you that drag the whole fkin trade down
