Bubbles in edges of bead, how to fix?

Hi, I live in a new build house and now it's settled for a few years these have come up on a few edges. On a few edges the plaster at the corner has bubbled up a bit and the edges are no longer fully straight.

It looks like plastic edge strips have been used and are bubbling in some way. What's the easiest way to repair these? Can I cut out individual sections or do I need to remove it all and replace with a fresh strip?

It's flex angle tape like this.

If the metal strip hasn't lifted, you might get away with cutting the paper part of the tape back and patching with filler and sanding when dry. If the metal strip has lifted then you're better off pulling of the whole tape and replacing it with new angle tape.

Rip it off and replace. It's not plaster that's bubbled as your house isn't plastered. Happens on majority of dry lined new builds, just poor quality unfortunately

Make me sick, seeing the sh1t quality of some new builds.

effin disgrace to society, some of these cowboys.

Screwing people out of their life savings/earnings, just to make a selfish fast buck.

Rip the tape off and put a metal angle bead on instead and tape and fill it. Be careful at the bottom because the tape is probably behind the Skirting, if it doesn't pull out, carefully use a junior hacksaw to cut the metal off flush with the skirting.

Dont you have a guarantee of work with a new build? Usually registered under a NHNC builders guarantee for 10 years.. worth checking before you do the work yourself. The contractor probably wont go near it if you have a go first.
