I'm after a new bucket trowel I was going to bu a bricks trowel and trim the end square so it's a bit round on the edges like a marshalltown bucket trowel

until a yr or so ago i always used to use my trowel. but not the back side of it, so it didnt get dirty.... its quicker than a bucket trowel

Sorry mate I can't find the PM function.

I bought one of your riveted trowels the other day but haven't used it as it looks like it with damage my trowel. the revits have bent the trowel so only the edges make contact. The rivets themselves also sit proud so it looks like they will chip my trowel too.

I was going to take the trowel to a metal worker and have them sort it out but was wondering if you have had the problem with other trowels or if this is a one off?

...bit gutted really as its a good idea but I like to look after my tools.

Gibbo, I haven't got any problems with spunklicker. I just seems that every thread I have read has had him in it whining about coursers, money, wages etc. I've only been here a few weeks and I'm already bored of it, so god knows what everyone else is thinking. I just think this forum could do with giving him a kick up the arse as it would make for a better atmosphere.
