Not keen on those scoop things??

I like it but a bit of a fiddle to clean for some reason and once the bucket is nearly empty you revert back to a bucket trowel to scoop the rest out. Nothing beats a board and stand though, way better than scooping from a bucket.

Agree . I just whack it with hammer. The tricks to hold it with handle to stop you bending

I use a Nela bucket trowel and a few pans you get a brimmed hawk in one load .. also harling/dash trowels are good as well but get heavy
