your right there, even us hard grafters are getting lazy in other ways,, im just as bad, never wash my own car any more, and even thinking about getting a gardener soon
 
a friend of mine told me on a site near him, all the spreads are bulgarian, and its price work...£1 a meter. They dont mind 40, 50 quid a day. What on earth are WE meant to do if they are charging £1 a meter?

I would doubtthetruth of your friends statement, remember everyone has to buy food, payment, have tools etc,diesel .so it won't stack up. Just scaremongering

Some firms down ere are paying 25p more than that to all spreads for pink. Most lads are English and need work but one or two I know have had houses repossessed and now living back at mums. Sad times I tell u. Some areas of the country are struggling beyond the so called "recovery"

I personally would not run a van business and tools for that I would go and get a clocking in job.

Thank to those uk boys who do it tho because if they all turned away like me then plastering would be handed over to eastern blockers completely in some counties.

Gotta diversify these days boys.

Its needs must,thankfully it's not like that here,but I blame the employers and in some parts the guys who take it on, contradicting myself I know but its that circle
 
Here in Sheffield we had in the late 50's and early sixties massive Council house estates and flats being built literally thousands of homes in like 15 years. I asked my Uncle who would have been in his 20's then how did they find the workers? I do not think we would have the workforce today. He told me you had to work back then to survive. The dole was so poor that you could not live on it and besides there was employment. If you did not take the job you did not get dole.

He also said it was good for the tradesman. There was so much work about that you could walk off one site and straight onto another. The highest payer got the man! It was not so good for the builders. Prices was tight and getting/keeping men was hard. This was in the early 90's and getting benefits was easy. He said today (90's) you can live quite well on the dole if you know how.

The benefit system is going to change but the pc brigade will be there demanding it goes back. HB needs to change. £20 billion a year paying someone else's mortgage (including mine on 1 property, he,he).

As for the foreigner I have avoided them but now I see the young singles in another light. My local builders merchants has had 3 Albanians for the last 15 years at least. There opening up at 7am for the drivers and always the last to leave 6 days a week. Can't fault them. Car washers for the lazy? They work dawn till dusk 7 days a week. No Brit would tolerate that. My lads will only do MON to FRI 7.30 till 4.30. It could piss it down all week and we might not earn a penny. The weekend could be great weather and will not work. Then they go hitting Wonga! In debt and always skint but work unsociable hours? No chance. Only me and my ten a penny can work any time anywhere. The spreads won't have any of it.

So as for Bulgarians? If a non Roma Bulgarian spread came to me for a job and was willing to turn the work over and make me money he is more than welcome. I even have a flat available. The local lads in my opinion are lazy f**k**s!
 
I think people want pop stars or footballers lifestyles, celebrity non entity lifestyle, the lure of working in construction is a joke to them ,drug dealing brings easy fast money and status ,an apprenticeship won't give you the big car, the latest phones etc

its ukip for me at the moment,
the only problem is some of there policies don't add up, and to some there seen as a party of nutters, to be taken seriously. ive worked for the main funder of ukip [paul sykes at his house, 2 weathiest fella in Yorkshire after ken morrison] hes the most sainest person you've ever meet
 
The lib dems didn't add up and once they blagged there way in said whoops we can't do that, ukip will be the same.
 
Ukip are mostly disaffected Tories and have millionaires as supporters, their main support on the ground will be from 'benefit street ' estates or am I seeing it completely wrong? I would only vote labour myself although they are a let down too, lesser of the evils basically in my opinion
 
Torys are all for keeping the wealth for themselves, Lib-Dems are the do-gooders and Labour have let down the working class. None of them listen and as there isn't an option to vote 'None of the above' the only viable protest vote is UKIP or BNP. Far from perfect but if it smashes up the party system and gets the career politicians to listen to the public than that's a good start :RpS_thumbup:

So anarchist voting, it may de stabilise the country though, without a strong leader, this would lead to poor or slow or no decision making ,,so you don't want kip or the racist bigoted bnp thugs but want to Send a message to the main parties?
 
So as a bnp supporter you could not support any of the Olympic champions that were black or mixed race or anyone on the national teams,

They need a rocket up their arses John. Decisions can be made quickly when required (remember they have 3 months off in Summer and things tick over). We're not going to be left rudderless so to speak as the current mob stay in power until such time that a new government is formed. Seriously, the BNP/UKIP mob are never going to become an elected government and the public wouldn't accept a nazi style anyhow. I do agree with some, not all, of their policies :RpS_thumbup:
 
UKIP will split the tory vote when I see the two edds I know why I do not vote labour clegg and his bunch I hope they never see the light of day again.

I do not think we will get a vote on europe it's all bullshite.

So a semi nazi? Part racist ? The Germans if in 1920s would have said they would have not accepted nazism either, its a slippery slope though is it not, basically its the fear of immigrants that drives you to theukip/bnp vote, but the problem is lots of employers need the immigrants to keep businesses going without which this country could go into economic meltdown, it is the foreign wealthy who have invested billions into the uk,

NO NO NO John. I'm dead set against the whole EU thing, same as BNP/UKIP. We can't make our own laws anymore. I don't have a fear of immigrants, why would I? They don't nick my work. But we wouldn't need as many here if we made our existing population get off their 4rses and go to work instead of accepting benefits as a way of life. That's what frustrates me - and I believe, millions of other Brits. Your portraying me as some kind of nazi is succour to the mainstream parties - the ars3holes who refuse to listen to The Great British Public :RpS_thumbup:

Not at all bubbles65, I just try to get explanations for people's views and yours is quite good,we all want to see everyone making an effort and stop scrounging but it will take some sea of change, I have a bad habit of poking and poking to get an angry response not unlike yourself at times, also its good to make others think , too many sheep in this world .
