Did a big one today on a barn conversion used the plastic arch bead but because it was a complete circle was getting a few flat spots with the bead.
Do you guys snip the flat section of the wing as well to just get it to bend eventually did it
But this job has to be spot on got another 6 to do cheers

Always done mine with hardboard, I think someone has written out the process on here somewhere

probably a straight shot is better, saying that though I did zoom in and is a bit wonky, would rather use a bead come to think of it :RpS_blushing:

Did you find it bend round ok or did ya snip it as well on the flat side of the bead

No it bent around fine, Ive done a few with arch beads and they always follow the angle well

oli do you line the reveal with plasterboard first then dab up to it or do you board over the window then cut the circle out that way

@madmonk are they holes that go through a wall or are they round windows ? got any pics ? Those arch beads bend better one way than they do the other bud.

I havent either, although crimewatch have done a couple of reconstructions.
