theres no harm in being enthusiastic connor but if people hear you say can you teach me to plaster. that might give them the impression they are going to teach you, then you (french word) off, and its just another spread for them to compete with. ask if they will take you on and tell them your willing to start from the bottom. its the only way imo. and like i said mate if its all youve wanted to do and your 38 and still havent done it. you might want to try something else.

also, by the time uv learnt ull be getting on early to mid 40s. plastering is a young mans trade. itd be hard to plaster from 45 to 60
