Can OCR be hand applied ?

Just wondering if OCR can be hand applied by using what technique? Would it speed up job and what does it cost roughy pm2?

Yes it can be hand balled mate ,with paddle mixer (imo)

Treat it as you would S/C although it's a One Coat Render
£6-£8 a bag I think and 1m2 at 15mm I think maybe wrong on that though..

The grains in it are different than S/C they are similar to hardwall or bonding

Decent stuff to use though

One coat but I would do in two passes(same day) if trying to get 15mm.it will slump for sure

Ok thanks, can it not be mixed on cement mixer or does it **** them ? Float and sponge as normal or use float sponge?

Yes it can but will probably stick to the back.why wet the blocks Gary,cos it pulls in?

I mix in a mixer all time, no probs, good gear, defo 2 passes..

What would OCR be like over old render, we have a front to hack off, pebble dash, the old scratch seems solid,would it be ok to sbr scud then use sbr ?

What depth should it be applied as it's one coat and What's the meterage per bag? Is as cost friendly as traditional mix.

rend aid to even the suction, 15mm thickness, a bag covers 1 m2... more expensive that s/c.. way better tho..
