ceiling rose moulds

Alright guys, i'm new to the forum.

I've been in the game for about 3 yrs now, and in the downturn i've been doing up my house. Quite fancy putting up a good few ceiling roses downstairs. Instead of buying them pre made, I quite fancy making them myself with casting plaster. I've had a good look round the internet and cant find the actual moulds. Anyone know where I can get one from?

You can make your own just buy the latex mould making kits just mix it and pour it over what you want to take a mould of

oh i was only planning on doing a ring around the light, sort of like an architrave that goes round a door, you know that sort of thickness, was worried about it braking, wot do you think mate should i still run it on a bench

Thing is you need to spin from a central pin which would need to be smack bang in the centre of your light fitting wouldn't it, do it on a bench Kirk. If you've got the right sort of property Kirk go ahead it could look stunning if done right.

haha you would hate my house then mate, i have built up allot of my own cornice work (still going to start running them soon), taken off all corners and changed them to splayed, bullnose, and sunken ovilo (check spelling) all with birds beaks or cocks breasts. just gettin all the gear ready to start running stuff.

i love it mate ;)

we all gota start somewhere. my house is like a palace mate, and i dont care if i dont get the full value for it because of where i live, i dont do it for money i do it because i love my work and i like to have a nice home, oh an the kids like watchin an helpin. they love it ;)

i love doing it mate and i love the style of this sort of stuff, a cocks breast is like the same as a birds beak but it bends the other way on the slope that goes to the sharp arris
