Change of Plasterer, different methods, should i be worried

they seem clued up so thats a start.

i dont know why im stressing so much about this!
All i can think of is i knew the previous bloke well and i dont know anything about these boys.

Its my first house and i just dont want my dream layout and setup to crumble off in lumps i guess!

3 days work max one man,persoanlly id pva skim when tacky
.First coat of pva dry seals surface,pva when tacky gives a direct glued bond.
Always best to pva when tacky (best practise ) but id be lying if i said i hadnt skimmed over dry walls with no comeback also.
£500 is a fair price to pay for supplying the gear.Id want more than that personally.
 
If you read the back of the PVA it states to apply when tacky. Although PVA does come back live...I would see no problems with walls with this method but would not want to be doing a thick coat on an artex ceiling!
