That's rite folks..got a call offering free checkatrade for the full year then can cancel..should be on in a couple of weeks so Il give a honest review after a couple of months like lodan did with my builder..tbh I prob wont do owt as I hate pricing jobs with a passion now but its free do f**k it mite aswell
 
never heard of them giving away a free year. thats 600 quid to them.. double check it mate and you should have a visit from them before you are live

There coming to my house Thurs morning..i said cant you come to me at work he said no we need to prove u are not a traveller lol..ye mate its 100% free he said its because there cant fill Leeds area and there have been ringing me for the last year
 
It's popular down here. A lot of my mates (of various trades) swear by it.
 
Guarantee the bloke or if they are clever the women who comes to see you says "well he should of told you the premium membership is not free" lol a lot harder to tell some c**t to f**k off over the phone than to their face but more satisfying :)

Funny thing is flynny he said he's giving me the premium slot for free lol..the guy who's coming round rings me 2 days b4 to confirm meeting so Il ask him then and let you know
 
I joined a couple of weeks ago. Phone has been ringing nonstop...
Was a member a few years ago. And it worked for me then too.
If it's free, then why not....

Fcking hell I'm dreading already..fone ringing non stop..i priced a Job last week on basis of a watsapp video lol cos I cudnt be arsed going round to her house and she lives 5mins down road

Ha ha! Yeah it gets a bit like that! It's been good for me, getting back into it. Getting the contacts up, and the ball rolling again.

Only reason I'm doing it is because its free..or ment to be! Il be honest it will prob be a couple jobs a month id do if that as we are vat registered so I dnt think we cud compete with a 1 man band on price etc

thats what we found. we dont get alot of domestics because we are vat. renders qe win but internals not so much.

we just use it as areference now. dont put feedbacks in often at all as most of our clients are builders.

but it does pay for itself

Ye agree..like I say a job a month or 2 and id be happy..im not going to be flying round pricing shitty little jobs havnt got time and most prob will not win them

Sounds like you got a lot of work so not too important but the other site has saved me a lot of days sat at home not earning. Finshed a week long job from my builder yesterday, lounge and dining room and a bit of patching. Worked out the other day my lead costs are £650 so far but feel the amount of turnover was worth it
 
Checkatrade is handy, just be weiry of the people contacting you, there office types, teachers etc 95% of the time so have very very rarely been around builder types before

Very handy for pricing but as with all domestics allow to go above and beyond with the prep work and cleaning up

My site is top of google in the area!!
Had a couple jobs from it.the review system looks very unprofessional as you have to give them cards to fill out
Builders won't fill them out
