there is only twice that we have used cork.
in a huge cold storage unit that stored food for supermarkets, they built the cold storage rooms out of blocks made from cork.
the other time was a recording studio after we plastered the walls and ceiling, twitching the internals and ceiling lines with a football, they had the walls and ceiling covered with cork tiles.
the reason they gave was when recording they did not want a note to stick in an internal.
