Hi guys. What is the best and most effective ways to cover carpets to protect them from any plaster splats? I`ve used the sticky carpet protector on a roll but it tears off real easy so looking for a more substantial option. Thanks
cover the carpets with poly, then cover with hardboard , tape joints and skirting lines. thats what i have to do when working for our local structural engineer
If its a light carpet we use the waterproof disposable dust sheets out out of toolsatation and a roll of carpet protector. We spread the sheets out then cut the carpet protector in 2 with a saw and use this to go round all the edges holding the sheets in place. Tape all joins then cover with tarp, sheets etc. We cut the protector in 2 so it last longer as it's only needed for edges.
