Coving
Took this down today and its very old not seen this make before, stuck up with just flat head screws. It was called gyproc covie.

early gyproc cove, the name change to british gypsum about 1964. the three bases, kent, glasgow and notts became one.

I had a feeling you may be able to share some info on it, thanks.
the first gyproc cove, a lot quicker , and cheaper, then running a cove
it was called the gothem plastering co. plaster bags, brown bags, just had the words sirapite, or gyproc wall finish , keenes cement [a plaster], just the name of the material on them.
plaster would be a different colour from different pits, as we in suffolk would have grey from one pit and pink from another.

Last time I used that was nearly 28 years ago....

How did you know how to use it if it doesn't have instructions like today's bags? @malc

So the first bagged plaster under coats from bg were not browning?

thistle browning but not like the browning of today, for block walls, it looked like finish plaster but you mixed it 3 to 1 with sand, washing the mixer out about every half hour.
there was thistle fibre browning, again mixed with sand for floating on plaster lath sheets.
both of these were finished with thistle wall finish.
these were replaced with carlite browning and bonding both pre mixed plasters
