Cross troweling

ive tried that a few times but i dont think my trowels worn in enough yet. only had it 6mths or so. i need to use a little water else it tears

Im sure there's someone on here that'll break it in for you - for a small charge :RpS_thumbup:
 
Worked on a job once where the blokes' missus had bought him ONE trestle from Aldi or lidl, "Because there were loads of blokes buying them so I thought I'd get you one" :RpS_laugh:
 
Ive always crossed trowled and always will, or though i didnt the other day it just didnt feel right not cross trowling it
 
Use the pole n spat. Always cross me. Unless I'm workin for a tight fook. Like said earlier. If done right l looks the same when painted.
 
Yes and it would make it ideal for a midget plasterer so he could reach when re'plastering after a damp course. I feel a trip to the Dragons den may be in order.:)
 
You can buy legs that fit on the ends of scaffold boards so you can make a 2.4 long hop up
