is it true in 2010 all plastereres will have to be cscs registered with nvq2 or is that just for site work

They want everyone to obtain their CSCS cards and want to push it on the domestic market as well!! How many customers have even asked you if your qualified or what training you have had? Seem to remember only 1 question that really interests the customer and thats how much!!

i never been asked but its a big problem i didnt think it would be necessary for domestic work

Did my cscs last year and nvq 2 and never been asked for it yet the nvq was quite easy as we only got assessed lots of pictures of us working, never had to pay for it as the company we were subbying for paid, they told us it was £600 but they got the money back. I am working on a private site doing a refurb, turning a large house into 8 flats. There are about 20 people on site, and me and the bloke i work with are the only 2 on site with the cscs card including the site foreman, and every one we speak to on site have no intention of getting it. Makes you wonder wether it will take off, when it is only the major companys that are enforcing it.
