Curved ceiling tips

I have recently done this ceiling obv done them before but I always find the curve a pain in any tips on how to tackle them

Yeah don’t live up north. been plastering 18 years never seen one in the south west

Cut 2" off width of coving , blend in with bonding

Loads of barrelled ceilings up here, I usually dubb the curve out and skim as usual.

By hook or by crook! I get in there on the internals with scrapers/chopped up pva tubs for my own bespoke teeny tiny flexis etc

I often think what did they use to do these in the first place?! And whhhhhhyyyyy????

I thought I ain’t doing that
Did ceiling flat, wall flat and put a big 150mm cornice up after

I done one like this before, bloody nightmare on your own. If I do one like that again I’d deffo either split the ceiling or get extra spread as it’s just not worth the hassle.

And there still not 100 % after that I've done loads I my time fukin awful

I just done one. Bigger curve then that. I feathered it in to curve then fine tuned it with some easi fill.. No chance I.d of got whole room on in one . I.ll grab some pics when I.m back.

It was in every room and customer wanted to keep it . But someone never told joey and his hammer .

that’s what I usually use on them

of course I’m on my own.

sometimes get the little heater out and put it in the middle of the room when I want a challenge.
