Well now I sound silly moaning about a bathroom bond and skim!
I have no idea why people would charge that. Must be on the dole surely.
I like the idea though...I'm gonna do that and wind them up
 
I just floated and set four walls, boarded and skimmed the ceiling for 60 quid and 4 cups of tea.

I taking the rest of the week off now.
 
Don't worry about it, you had plenty of notice and you will be getting a call from them again anyway in about 3 weeks asking you to put right what some nob heads done cheaper
 
Just been cancelled from my lid on sat morning.. Had a cheaper quote !!! ah well **** happens
 
I price on the gauge how do u guys price. £50 a gauge roughly, 2 a day with prep work being £20 on top. £120 a day. 8am-5pm from leeds?

Could ls I get more? No more then 20m2 per gauge

Room is 150 - 180 3 gauges

gauge one ceiling
gauge two 2 walls
Hague three the last remaining walls

all hard angled cleaned up good as new.

too expensive ? takes me a day n half to complete being by myself
 
Used to be around enough money to pay for me a lab,another spread for a room, then we'd do another or maybe two, depending on how it went, so I'd have a good profit...makes up for down time,van costs,insurance,diesel,tools, public liability etc etc.
 
It varies - especially at this time of night, but the bigger picture is that I wouldn't give anyone a new room including the lid, for £200 :RpS_thumbup:
 
How long its gonna take you, how much you want/worth per hour...than add your materials,mark up as you wish,dint forget time picking up gear ....add it all together.........theres your price:RpS_thumbup:

I'd be happy with 150 but got told by another plasterer I was too expensive? That 150 would get u a 4walls or a ceiling and 2 walls. That's with the prep involved should really change the concept on how I price
