Doing a bit of dashing next week but need to try and match existing , I normally use 5-1 and 1 with soft sand on top cot but it’s not quite light enough , any suggestions

Bit expensive though, much cheaper using sand and cement. Try a one of fine sharp sand

No idea , we didn’t do the original but I’ll find out Monday

Try a "buff" mortar colour additive. Too pale for sandstone. Not expensive and they make the difference. I like to add mortar dye depending on choice of stones.
