BG bead has more chance of finish getting through and is wider to hold better.

A lot depends on the beads being used, some are very narrowDon't talk b*ll***s!
A correctly dry fixed bead is absolutely fine and meets with b.s., NHBC and BG standards.
I dread to think how many thousands of beads I've dry fixed over the years without any issues.
Same as mine. Beltin tool.I bed 90% of mine.
Only time she comes out is if there are s**t loads of columns, piers or window reveals. And only then if the board work is bang on.
