been spreading for a wee while to say the least and like most the old body is fooked, just bought the speedskim to try and ease things and wondering about these plastic floats thats meant to be the new thing.............ive never used anything but steel but realise i need to move with times.........can anyone recommend a good plastic trowel for me to move forward and save an elbow and shoulder replacement :RpS_cursing:

You will get loads of differing opinions on this ! i got one from the 1stop plaserers shop last week and i'm still getting used to it so my mind aint made up yet :RpS_unsure: the speedskim works well tho

Refina plazzi trowel is what i use now, great trowel easier on the arms and leaves a nice finish

am a bit of a fanny when it comes to my finish ie i like to see my beutiful smile in it when im finished :RpS_lol:, can you really get a nice finish with plastic????????and what about these sponges????????? i know steels the best and its all i know but the poor elbow and shoulder wont stop shouting at me to stop :RpS_cursing:

haggggggishunter, your body sounds that it is in bad shape what the hell have you been doing?

Used a 18 inch cement float for skim for years and before you say it you'll never get a flatter better finish but its taken its toll, its time for change
