Disputing plastering quality

Had a plasterer do work on three rooms - living, dining rooms and kitchen, but left tons of issues - mesh showing, sockets not properly filled and uneven, uneven corners on walls, just to name a few... attached only a couple of examples.

Frankly, I do not want him to return and even give him a chance to rectify his work. What are the options here? He has admitted most of the issues and wants to fix them.

Also, what is the best way to fix the corners?

Think yourself lucky we have seen much much worse than that on here abit of filling and sanding will do the trick to get it up to scratch how much did he charge for the lot by the way

Did you get 3 quotes and went with the cheapest one.

If its a reskim I always tell people the internals are all over and offer to bond em out so square he should of done same then you gotvthe options oh by the way that is just 1 coated

Just Shite. Quicker to redo than titivate it

Final invoice not paid yet, but he tried to charge close to £4k. Obviously this is being heavily disputed, considering he already did a reskim of three bedrooms and bathroom ceiling for about £1.3k.

Unfortunately no other quotes, we used him based on a recommendation... lesson learned the hard way.

There not many quality plasterers out there. Somebody than can do a standard of work thats at least paintable. There's a few really good quality tradesmen about. flat, and matt, and the work when dry is uniform. Take my hat off to those that learn the trade and know how to put out that kind of work like its nothing.
